Hi there,

I know things are feeling difficult right now, and I’m really glad you came here and gave yourself some space to pause and reflect. That takes something. I want to start by telling you how cared about you are, even on the days you feel it the least.

This world is better for having you in it. And even being here shows me that you’ve already lived through days that were incredibly hard, days you may not have known how you’d get through at the time. Please take the next few hours or days one moment at a time.

If it helps, breathe deeply, rest if you can, or step into some fresh air or sunlight, even just for a second. I say this as someone who has known deep difficulty too: intense moments can soften, and the body can slowly find a little more space to breathe. Your nervous system has been carrying a lot, and it deserves patience and gentleness.

I hope you get to dance in the rain, to shiver at a chilly sunrise, to get cosy when it rains outside. I hope you’re supported in noticing tiny glimmers of comfort or relief, and collecting them in whatever way feels possible. I’m rooting for you. Big

Love,

Soph
