Hello,

I know right now it might feel really hard to keep going, like the fear of what’s ahead is too much and you can’t see a way forward. I’ve been there – times when I couldn’t imagine how tomorrow would look, when the weight of”what if”was overwhelming. But slowly I built the life I once couldn’t imagine.

One day at a time, with patience, things began to shift. Two beautiful daughters. A happy marriage. Things that I find wonderful every day – the sun rising and setting.

Grass and trees. Birds singing. The random kindness of strangers. A good book.

A funny show. Smiliing at someone and having them smile back. Change can happen slowly, almost quietly – sometimes through small steps. You might not feel it now, but your presence can matter to others.

The difference you can make in someone’s life can be bigger than you think. Please keep going. Do the simple things – go outside if you can, have a walk get some fresh air, take a breath. If you can, eat well, stay hydrated, be kind to yourself and ask for help.

My wise old dad always said,”Ask people for their advice – ask for help – it’s the biggest compliment. He was right. I’ve asked lots of people for help, and they gave it gladly. One day, you may be the person giving that help to someone else.

I believe in you.

With hope,

Someone in the world that cares x
