Like many of the other letters, I've felt like I didn't matter and like the world would be better without me. When I feel overwhelmed, I try to remind myself of a few things, so these are for you, with all of my love. – Take five minutes. Set a timer, breathe, stroke a pet, sit in the shower – whatever you need.

You can do it again and again until the feeling eases just a little. – You are At some point you may have made someone's day with a joke or a smile, even the cat on the corner who you stopped to stroke even though you were already late. You are loved little and often and that is important. – Your worth isn't measured by your productvity.

You deserve to be here because you are here. – What helped you as a child? Maybe today you just need to eat coco pops in front of re-runs of scooby-doo? Maybe you need a big cry? Maybe its time to tell a loved one. Its all up to you. Look after yourself in a way that feels safe and loving for you xx Jess
