Dear friend, I'm writing to you because you matter. Not to demand anything of you or to convince you—but to tell you that you are not alone. I know that life can sometimes feel incredibly difficult. There are times when everything feels constricted, dark, hopeless.
If you feel this way right now, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Your feelings are real. They deserve to be heard and met with compassion. And at the same time, I want to tell you: Even if you can't see it right now—your life has value that is independent of how you feel.
You are more than this pain. More than this moment. More than the thoughts that are tormenting you right now. There are moments in life that are quiet, warm, unexpectedly beautiful.
Sometimes they don't come because we seek them, but because we paused. Because we took another breath. Another step. You don't have to go through this alone.
Accepting help is not a sign of weakness—quite the opposite. It shows that somewhere inside you there's still a part of you that wants support, even if you feel very tired right now. Please talk to someone who can support you: a trusted person, a professional, an organization that exists precisely for times like these.
Someone is here. Ready to listen. You can reach out anytime, without explanation, without a mask. Just as you are.
You are not broken. You are a person going through a difficult time. And difficult times can change.
With love, Andrea
